Rede Monte Carlo is one of the main players in the roadside retail segment in Brazil, operating since 1975. It has 63 units spread across São Paulo, Paraná and Santa Catarina, with gas stations and highway malls. The group has been growing fast: it has doubled the number of units in the last 3 years and has a significant pipeline contracted for the next few. At the same time, it has taken important governance steps, such as implementing a board of directors, audited balance sheets and access to the capital markets. This CRA has made it possible to better balance the group's capital structure, with long terms and a series of flexibilities so that it can continue to grow rapidly and sustainably. igc partners structured the operation and acted as exclusive financial advisor to Rede Monte Carlo.
